Rain trickling down coconut leaves, plantain leaves beaming with sheen. Sounds and feels much like where I grew up. (I loved to watch coconut trees bending, swaying to the frequent storm winds. I still do. ^_^)

Thanks "Flyaway mind" (Roshni?) for stopping by. Rain sure is inspiring. One can get involved with a monologue in the woods. The monologue is evident at so many levels. So many layers. You could casually hear the pitter-patter. A little more concentration and you could hear the running streams of muddy water. A little more involvement and you could hear disturbed cicadas. A little more curiosity and you could hear the seeping water and the replenished roots. A little more interest and you could smell the olfactory mud, and hear the synchronous symphony of the jungle. Rain involves one at all levels. Makes one aware. Makes one's adrenaline rush!
